Kind kids paint stones for penguins
Good news for the penguins at Scotland's Edinburgh Zoo! Some children from a hospital have painted beautiful stones for them. Why? During the breeding(繁殖) season, penguins give stones as "love gifts" to build nests, and the kids wanted to help! The children love penguins and often watch their live videos. Now, they can watch the penguins pick up the stones they painted for them!
Swimming with dolphins
On February 20th, several young people played games with a pink dolphin in a Brazilian river. These activities were part of an animal therapy(治疗) programme started by an organisation in 2016. Over the years, the programme has provided support for about 400 people. These people were having a hard time in their lives. For example, some had lost their arms or legs. Spending time with the dolphins helped them feel better.
Palmerston is a well-known cat in the UK. He first arrived at the UK government in 2016 as a rescue cat and helped catch mice. After serving for four years, Palmerston retired from public life in 2020. In 2025, he made a comeback and took on a new role as "feline(猫科的) relations consultant(顾问)". Sadly, the famous "Diplocat" passed away peacefully on February 12th, 2026, at the age of about 12.
