Rongjiang County in Guizhou Province is famous for its exciting “Village Super League (村超)”, which attracts football fans across China every year. However, in June 2025, the lovely place was hit by serious floods.
The floods were caused by days of heavy rain. Rongjiang lies at the meeting point of three rivers. With continuous heavy rain, the river water levels rose quickly.
