Emma was in her bedroom. She was playing the guitar. It was very loud. Dad was in the living room. He couldn't hear the TV. Mum was in the kitchen. She couldn't hear the phone. Joe was in his room. He couldn't hear his friends at the door.

"Emma! Don't make so much noise!" said Mum.
Emma stopped playing. The house was very quiet. Dad went back to the living room. But the TV was not interesting. Mum went back to the kitchen. She sat near the phone. It didn't ring. Joe waited in his bedroom and looked out of the window. But his friends didn't come.
Everyone was unhappy. They thought they made a mistake.
Where was Dad's trumpet? He found it under the bed. Where was Mum's piano? She found it behind the door. Where were Joe's drums? He found them in a box.
Emma heard the music. She ran out. She was in a band!
