A baby monkey named Punch lives in a Japanese zoo. *His mum left him soon after he was born.
The zookeepers (动物园管理员) wanted to help him. They gave Punch a toy orangutan (猩猩). Punch hugged it day and night. It made him feel safe and warm. It is just like his mum!
At first, he always stayed with his toy. Sometimes some big monkeys pushed him away (把……推开). But with the zookeepers' help, Punch is getting better now. He starts to play with other baby monkeys. Some monkeys are slowly starting to accept (接受) him too. But the toy is still his good friend.
