Mia's group did not want to buy expensive gifts. Her mother gave her some yellow flowers from their balcony. Mia put the flowers in a glass bottle and added clean water. Ben wrote a large card with big words: "Welcome, dear grandparents." Leo checked the chairs because one chair was not safe. Amy made a simple sign and put it beside the table. It said, "Please sit here and have a rest."
When the grandparents arrived, they smiled at the flower table. Grandpa Hu said the flowers were bright, and the well-prepared chairs made him feel warmer. After the show, the students did not run away. They listened to old stories about school life many years ago. Mia wrote in her diary, "Getting together is not just being in the same place. It is doing small things with real care."
