Everyone loves gifts! But each
country has different customs.
As a European(欧洲人) living in China, I've seen some interesting differences from home. For example, in China, people often give fruit and milk during festivals, besides visiting people. In Europe, people give them only when they visit sick people in the hospital.
Many Europeans open their gifts right away, although not in places like Germany. It's also important to take off the price tag(标签) before giving the gift.
