B
Dear host family,
I hope you are all well. I'm writing to say a big thank-you for everything you did during my exchange visit.
It was really nice of you to welcome me into your home. I'm very thankful for the comfortable room you gave me and the love and care you showed me all the time. The best part of the trip was surely the delicious and different Chinese dishes you cooked for me. I clearly remember the first time I ate mapo tofu. Its special taste left a deep mark on me.
When I was in Beijing, I got the chance to learn a lot about Chinese history and culture. Our visit to the Great Wall was an amazing experience. Standing on the old stones, I felt a strong link (联系) to the long history of this great country. And when we went to the Summer Palace, I was attracted by the beautiful gardens and buildings. I really felt like one of the family when we celebrated the local festivals together.
Since I got back to London, I've been always sharing my great memories in Beijing with my friends. What I miss most is sitting around the table with you, talking and laughing. I really hope that one day you can come to London. I'd be very happy to be your host and show you around my city, like the famous Big Ben and the British Museum.
Best wishes to you all! Let's keep in touch!
Yours,
Eric

1. 第1题:根据题干关键词“best part”定位到原文第二段“The best part of the trip was surely the delicious and different Chinese dishes you cooked for me.”,可知Eric最喜欢的是美味的中国菜,对应选项B。
2. 第2题:根据题干关键词“Great Wall”定位到原文第三段“Standing on the old stones, I felt a strong link (联系) to the long history of this great country.”,“link”意为“联系”,对应选项B的“connection”,故选B。
