答案

1.B

A. confident(自信的):不符合“等妹妹”的语境,排除;
B. patient(耐心的):be patient意为“耐心点”,符合让对方等待妹妹的语境,当选;
C. careful(仔细的):be careful意为“小心”,与等待妹妹的语境无关,排除;

A.included
B.failed
C.checked
D.avoided

答案

2.D

逐一分析选项:A. included(包括),代入后与转折逻辑矛盾,排除;B. failed(失败,fail sb意为辜负,语义不符),排除;C. checked(检查),不符合语境,排除;D. avoided(避开、回避),代入后符合男孩们只邀请Alison、没邀请Gloria导致Gloria情绪低落的语境,故正确。
【答案】D

3.B

A. event:名词,意为“事件;大事”,侧重具体发生的事件,不符合语境;

C. note:名词,意为“笔记;注释;音符”,与语境无关;

before planning a trip.
2. Fruit juice can do harm to/be harmful to children's teeth

有害”用提示的harm相关搭配do harm to或be harmful to,需注意名词所有格的正确使用。
1. 第一句:目的状语“为了我们的安全”译为For our safety;主语“爸爸”是Dad,时态为一般现在时,谓语“查看(check out)”用第三人称单数形式checks out,宾语“天气信息”是the weather information;时间状语“在计划旅行前”译为before planning a trip,组合成完整句子:For our safety,Dad always checks out the weather information before planning a trip.
2. 第二句:状语“根据这份科学报告”译为according to the scientific report;主语“果汁”是Fruit juice,情态动词“可能”用can,结合提示的harm,“对…有害”译为do harm to或be harmful to;宾语“儿童的牙齿”是children's teeth,组合成完整句子:Fruit juice can do harm to/be harmful to children's teeth according to the scientific report.

China is making big efforts to help people control their weight and live healthier lives. The government has started a three-year "Weight Management Year" plan from 2024 to 2026 to fight against obesity. Obesity can cause serious health problems like diabetes and heart disease. Here's what you should know about the new guidelines:
First,it's important to check your BMI. For adults,a healthy BMI is between 18.5 and 23.9. If your BMI is between 24 and 27.9,you are overweight. A BMI of 28 or above means you are obese. Also,doctors suggest measuring your waist. Men should keep their waist under 85 cm,and women under 80 cm.
Eating well is very important,and exercise is important too! When it comes to food,choose whole grains like brown rice,fresh vegetables,and lean proteins such as fish,chicken,or beans. Don't eat fried food and sugary snacks,and also eat less salt and oil. Interestingly,the guidelines even include fun local dishes—like "stewed fish" from Northeast China or "noodles with chili oil" from the Northwest,to make healthy eating tasty and full of local flavour. For exercise,try to do 150—300 minutes of activities like walking,cycling,or dancing every week,and do strength exercises twice a week. If you sit for a long time while studying,stand up and stretch for 3—5 minutes every hour.
Besides diet and exercise,small daily habits can also make a big difference. Teens should sleep at least 8 hours every night because bad sleep can make you put on weight. Try to eat vegetables first,then meat,and finally rice or bread during a meal to control how much you eat.
Schools and communities are also helping. For example,schools in Shanghai now make sure students exercise for at least two hours every day,and hospitals have "weight clinics" with diet plans,exercise advice,and even traditional Chinese ways like acupuncture. By 2030,China hopes to slow down the increase of obesity through education and support.
Remember, ▲ . However,you can just start with small changes,like drinking water instead of soda or taking the stairs instead of the elevator. With these easy steps,everyone can have a healthier future.
