The sky was clear and the sun was shining brightly before the terrible disaster of the typhoon. Bernadette Tenegra was in her home. Their home is not far from a river. The Tenegra family stayed together in their house to keep away from the storm. They thought that the terrible storm would stop soon as it did in the past.
But things didn't happen as they had thought. The water rose quickly, washing away the people, including Bernadette's husband and her other daughters. They were able to swim to safety. But the 6-year-old Tenegra was fighting against the strong wind and water. Bernadette made her way to the child and kept telling her to keep on.

"Yolanda", the super typhoon, destroyed(摧毁) a lot of houses and buildings. The 6-year-old Tenegra lost her life. She had just seen a small part of this wonderful world, while the whole world witnessed(见证) all the beauty of her.
