2026年启东中学作业本九年级英语上册译林版宿迁专版第102页答案
四、本土文化阅读理解。
Sihong Hongze Lake Wetland, in northern Jiangsu Province, is a national 5A-level scenic spot and a key national wetland protection area. Covering 5.2 square kilometres on Hongze Lake's southern bank, it is called the "Pearl of Huaihe River Basin" for its rich biodiversity and beautiful scenery. With over 95% vegetation coverage, the wetland has a sound ecosystem. It includes five main areas: Reed Maze, Fish Museum, Thousand Lotus Garden, Deep Breathing Passage and Resort Area. Every spring, tens of thousands of water birds migrate here to breed, like the rare Oriental White Stork. In summer, lotus flowers bloom brightly, and autumn brings golden reed fields.
Once, the wetland faced serious problems: excessive fish farming cages and water pollution damaged its ecosystem. Local authorities invested over 10 billion yuan to remove more than 30,000 cages, restore water plants and build sewage(污水)treatment facilities. After years of efforts, water quality improved greatly. In 2026, three Glossy Ibis(彩鹮)—a first-class protected bird—were spotted here for the first time, showing successful ecological restoration.
Today, the wetland not only protects biodiversity but also boosts eco-tourism. Over 2 million visitors come yearly for bird watching, boat trips and lotus appreciation, making it a model of harmonious coexistence(和谐共生)between humans and nature.
