It was a cold,rainy day. My mother and I drove to a hill. It was difficult to make a two-hour trip along the highway in such weather. I didn't want to go. But my mother asked me to go to see something at the top of the hill.
After driving for a long time,we stopped the car and got out. Walking along a path(小路),we turned at a corner. From the top of the hill,I saw many flowers there,like a carpet(地毯) before us.

On our way home,I was so amazed by what we had seen.“The woman changed the world. One bulb(一株） at a time. She started over 50 years ago. It might be just the start of an idea,but she kept at it.” I thought to myself,“If I had a dream and worked hard on it,just a little every day,what could I get?” And then,I told my mother,“I will start tomorrow.”But my mother looked at me and said,“Better to start today.”
