(A)
An ant was walking by a river. She looked at the river and said to herself, "How nice and cool this water looks! I must drink some of it." To get the water, the ant climbed up a twig (小树枝)carefully and reached out. But unluckily, she slipped and fell into the water.
A bird was sitting in a tree nearby. He quickly used his mouth to cut a leaf from the tree. He dropped the leaf into the river near the ant. The ant climbed onto the leaf, and the wind blew the leaf to the bank. The ant was saved. "Thank you!" shouted the ant, in her low voice. But her voice was so low that the bird couldn't hear it.
Just then, a bird catcher carefully took out his net. He quietly walked towards the branch where the bird was sitting. The ant saw this and ran quickly to bite the man's leg. "Ouch!" The pain in his leg made the man drop his net. The bird heard the noise and flew away. The bird never knew how the little ant helped him. But the ant was happy that she was able to do something for the bird.

解析

1. 第1题:根据第一段第一句“An ant was walking by a river.”
2. 第2题:根据后文“she slipped and fell into the water”可知,蚂蚁遭遇了不好的事情,因此“unluckily”在文中意为“不幸地”,故选A。
1.B 2.A 3.C 4.B 5.C
