The little cat was two years old, and his mother wanted him to learn some new skills.
His mother brought him to the bird, because the bird was good at singing. He taught the little cat to sing "la-la-la". When the little cat opened his mouth and started to sing the first "la", the frogs in the nearby pond were scared away.
Mother Cat had to take him away. She wanted the little cat to learn the guitar. She found the best guitar player in the forest—Mr Monkey. Mr Monkey showed the little cat how to play the guitar. When the little cat tried to pluck(弹奏),he broke the strings with his sharp nails.
Mother Cat then took him to learn dancing from the best dancer—Mrs Duck. Mrs Duck took him to practise. The little cat moved his body too excitedly, and soon he ruined the grass carpet. Mother Cat got angry. She wanted to hit the little cat. The little cat ran away very quickly. Mrs Duck looked at Mother Cat and said, "Why did you have your son come to learn dancing? Look! He has his unique skill—running!"

1. 先通读全文,快速了解小猫学习多种技能却接连失败,最终被发现自身特长的故事大意;
2. 针对每道小题,提取题干中的核心关键词(如第1题的“at first”“bird”,第2题的“broke the strings”等),以此为线索回到原文定位对应段落;
1. 根据第二段“His mother brought him to the bird, because the bird was good at singing. He taught the little cat to sing...the frogs in the nearby pond were scared away.”
2. 根据第三段“Mr Monkey showed the little cat how to play the guitar. When the little cat tried to pluck(弹奏),he broke the strings with his sharp nails.”
3. 根据第四段“Mother Cat then took him to learn dancing from the best dancer—Mrs Duck...The little cat moved his body too excitedly, and soon he ruined the grass carpet.”
4. 从第四段Mrs Duck的话“Why did you have your son come to learn dancing?”可推断出,她认为猫妈妈让小猫学跳舞的做法是错误的,因此回答“She thought the mother cat was wrong.”
He has his unique skill—running!”可知,小猫拥有的特长是跑步,所以回答“He had his unique skill—running.”
1. sing, badly
2. guitar, nails
3. excitedly, dance

答案
示例:
As a primary school student, I had some bad habits. They made my life messy and stressful. I usually stayed up late doing homework and felt tired the next morning. And books, clothes and toys were everywhere in my bedroom.
But now, I've changed! I start my homework right after school and finish it early. It gives me more time to read my favourite books. Then I go to bed on time and wake up early the next morning. My bedroom is now clean and tidy. It becomes a peaceful place for me to study and relax.
These small changes have made a big difference. I feel happier and I'm ready for my new life in middle school!

1. 开篇承接:在给定开头后,用“They made my life messy and stressful.”
2. 描述过去的坏习惯:从学习和生活场景入手,用“I usually stayed up late doing homework and felt tired the next morning.”体现学习上的坏习惯,用“And books, clothes and toys were everywhere in my bedroom.”
3. 展现现在的改变:用“But now, I've changed!”
4. 结尾升华:用“These small changes have made a big difference. I feel happier and I'm ready for my new life in middle school!”
