Tim and Kerry Meek are both teachers. They have two daughters: 11-year-old Amy and 9-year-old Ella. The family did 100 different outdoor activities in just one year.
About one year ago, the Meeks arranged (安排) 100 outdoor activities for the two girls, like climbing and skiing. Although the parents are not outdoor activity fans, they still joined them. And the two girls not only had a great time, but also learned a lot of survival (生存) skills from the activities.
"Our friends spent most of their free time on electronic products (电子产品). Luckily, we can do something different. " Amy and Ella also helped their parents make a new list of activities for the next 12 months.
