Once upon a time, there was a little monkey. He lived in a mountain with his
mother.
One day, the little monkey came down from the mountain himself. He went to a
cornfield and saw a lot of big corn. He picked one and went on.
The little monkey carried the corn and came to a peach tree. He saw many big red
peaches. He was very happy. He thought the peaches must be very delicious, so he put
the corn down and picked the peaches.
Later, the little monkey came to the watermelon field with the peaches. When he
saw some big round watermelons, he was very glad! He threw away the peaches to pick
a big watermelon. The little monkey carried the big watermelon back.
Suddenly, he saw a lovely little rabbit jumping around when he was walking. He
was very excited and he threw away the watermelon to run after the rabbit. The rabbit
ran to the woods and disappeared. The little monkey had to go home with nothing in his
hand.
Moral: Don't desire too much at a time or you will have nothing in the
end.
