2026年仁爱英语同步练习册八年级下册仁爱版第56页答案
B
Typhoons in southeastern China happen every year. Typhoons are terrible storms and they form over warm seas, usually around the Pacific Ocean and the South China Sea. The typhoon season is usually from June to November. When typhoons hit the land, they bring strong winds and heavy rain. The winds can destroy buildings and trees, and the rain can cause floods.
A typhoon looks like a big round cloud. It has three parts. One is called the eye. In the eye, the sky is clear and the wind doesn’t move fast. Another one is the wall of clouds around the eye. There are the strongest winds and the heaviest rain. And the third part is the spiral rainband (螺旋雨带区).
Every typhoon has a name. Fourteen countries and regions (地区) like China, the US, Japan and so on, provide a list of names to be used repeatedly (重复地) each year. However, if a typhoon causes big accidents, the countries and regions will never use its name again.
What should we do before a typhoon hits our city? First, make sure all the windows are closed and stay away from them. Second, prepare enough food and water. Also, keep an eye on important information about the typhoon on TV or the radio.
