D
Group travel helps you to open up and meet new people, but is it for everyone?
When you travel with others, you develop a close relationship with them. You'll grow closer to them, even if you've known them for years. Group travel can also be cheaper. You can share the cost with your friends. For example, if a taxi ride from the airport to your hotel costs $15, it only costs you $5 if you split it with two friends. Besides, it is safer. As the saying goes, there is safety in numbers. For this reason, bad guys are far less likely to target a group of travellers. You're also less likely to get lost when you're with a group.
Still, there are also different opinions. There is very little freedom. You can't choose which hotel to stay in, which restaurant to eat at, when to go to bed or get up. You have to follow the plan. What's more, it's a real test of your patience. Travelling is tiring. There might be some disagreements even if you're with your best friends. Unlike travelling alone, you can't explore a place in detail. The tours move at a fast pace. You might only stay in a city for 1 or 2 days before moving on to the next. You don't have any time to stop and smell the roses.
So, is it better to travel with a tour group? Think about both sides and you'll find your answer.

解析

根据前文“it is safer. As the saying goes, there is safety in numbers.”可知团体旅行更安全,结合语境“bad guys are far less likely to target a group of travellers”,可推测坏人不太会“针对、攻击”一群旅行者,由此判断target的意思与Attack相近。
定位到第三段,其中提到“There is very little freedom. You can't choose which hotel to stay in, which restaurant to eat at, when to go to bed or get up. You have to follow the plan.”,说明团体旅行中需要遵循既定安排,也就是要遵守时间表,对应选项C。A选项“让你更有耐心”与原文“it's a real test of your patience”不符;B选项“比独自旅行更累”原文未提及比较;D选项“能欣赏玫瑰”是对“You don't have any time to stop and smell the roses”的错误理解,该句是比喻没时间慢慢欣赏风景。
27. B
28. A
29. C
