Sichuan is home to giant pandas. Bamboo is their favourite food. They are cute with black and white fur, so people from all over the world like to go to Sichuan to see them in nature parks. They are so amazing that they have become a symbol of China.
Everyone in China knows that Sichuan food is super spicy! That's because of Sichuan pepper, a special kind of pepper that makes your tongue(舌头) feel like it's dancing with a little electricity(电流). Try Sichuan hot pot and mapo tofu!
In Sichuan, there's a dream place everyone wants to visit—Jiuzhaigou Valley. The plants there are green, the water is clear and the air is very fresh. Tourists say that when they visit this place, it's like walking in a large painting. You can enjoy the beautiful views and feel close to nature.
Sichuan is full of ancient places that are very old and interesting. The Dujiangyan Irrigation System(灌溉系统)is a great water project. It was built a long time ago, and it still helps to water the plants and farms now. Besides, Du Fu Thatched Cottage(杜甫草堂)in Chengdu is also worth a visit.
So the next time you hear about Sichuan, think about pandas, spicy food, beautiful scenery and old interesting places. Sichuan is a lovely place with many amazing stories and cultural treasures to share!
