Ⅴ. 任务型读写。
One morning, a tiger was walking in the forest. He had nothing to eat for some days, so he was very hungry.
Suddenly, he saw a fox and caught her. The tiger opened his mouth with full of long teeth and said to the fox, “Why are you walking in my forest? What are you doing here? I shall have you for my breakfast.” The fox was afraid, but she had a good idea at once. She answered, “My dear sir, you must think that you are the king of the animals. Of course, you are very strong. But I am the king of the forest from now on. If you don’t believe me, you can follow me into the forest. I will show you how other animals are afraid of me.” So the tiger and the fox walked together to the forest. The fox was in front of the tiger and the tiger walked behind the fox. When the animals saw the tiger behind the fox, they all ran away. They didn’t want to be eaten up. Then the fox said, “Do you notice it now? All animals are afraid of me, not you. I am the king of the forest. I shall have you for my breakfast.” The tiger heard the fox’s words and left quickly.
