One day, when I was young, my parents took me to a large shopping mall. However, as we passed by a toy store, I was drawn by a shiny toy car in the window. I stopped to take a closer look, and when I turned around, my parents were gone. I was so scared that I began to cry. Luckily, some volunteers noticed me and looked after me. In their company, I slowly calmed down, and finally my parents found me.
I've always been thankful for their help and kept this experience in mind. Since then, I have joined volunteer teams and taken part in many activities.
I remember one time when I was at a bus stop, I was especially impressed. My job was to help people get on the right buses. A middle-aged woman with big bags stood alone for a long time, looking confused. I talked with her, found out where she needed to go and told her how to get there. She was going to see her daughter, who hadn't been home for months because of busy work.
I was glad to help others in this way. Once, I was taking part in a voluntary activity on the riverbank with friends. While picking up rubbish, I found a bunch of keys and a pile of documents on the grass. I waited there for 20 minutes, but no one came. So I phoned a local radio station for help. Finally, a schoolboy arrived and thanked me because the documents were necessary for his exam.
I really love voluntary work. In the future, I will keep passing on my love and helping those in need, just as I was helped in my childhood.

答案

1. D 【点拨】根据第一段中的“I stopped to take a closer look, and when I turned around, my parents were gone. I was so scared that I began to cry. Luckily, some volunteers noticed me and looked after me... finally my parents found me.”
3. A 【点拨】根据倒数第二段中的“I was glad to help others in this way.”及最后一段“I really love voluntary work. In the future, I will keep passing on my love and helping those in need, just as I was helped in my childhood.” 故选 A。

【答案】1.D 2.C 3.A 4.D
