Millie Childs is eleven years old. She is from England. She has made special glasses for people with dyslexia (阅读障碍). The glasses help those people read more easily. She has won a prize in a competition (竞赛).
Dyslexia makes reading and writing difficult. Millie has dyslexia. *She came up with the idea when she was eight. She wanted to help people like her. Coloured glasses help her read more easily, but she does not like carrying (携带) different pairs of glasses. So she made Rainbow Glasses.
The lenses (镜片) can change colours. They can turn red, green or blue. Wearers can choose (选择) the most helpful colour. She worked with engineers (工程师), and they made the first pair of glasses.
Millie is very happy. She hopes her glasses will help other children with dyslexia.
