Last weekend,I joined a meaningful environmental workshop in our community. We noticed a severe problem:the soil in the neighbourhood garden was badly polluted by plastic bags and occasional chemical spills.
To solve this problem,our volunteer team spent the whole afternoon picking up the rubbish and carefully separating the waste. After the physical work,a written proposal was handed out to the neighbours,advising them to pick up eco-friendly habits.
We did this because a healthy environment is completely essential for our daily lives. I strongly believe that if everyone takes action and stops littering,our community will be turned into a cleaner and safer place in the near future.
