governments of the 13 cities, the league would run from
May to November. Over 500 players took part, including

This weekend, over 22,000 fans went to the stadium
in Xuzhou. Tickets for the Nanjing-Wuxi match sold out

fans.
This league is not about being the best, but about
getting the most local people to join in. "Players are
common people, and visitors are not just fans but local
relatives, friends and citizens," a reporter said. "Jiangsu's
