I still remember the time when I volunteered at a local community centre. It was one of the most meaningful days in my life. In this community, many children enjoyed taking part in handicraft activities, so I planned to help the children create their handicrafts.
While the children were making their handicrafts, I noticed a girl who didn't join in any activities. When I asked her why, she told me that her family had just moved here, so she didn't know anyone here. I asked her to work as my helper and she agreed. She helped me show the other children's handicrafts. She quickly became a valuable member of our team. When I saw the little girl the second time, she was having fun with other children. When she saw me, she ran to me and gave me a big hug. She thanked me for helping her and she felt much happier than before.
That day, I really experienced the joy of helping others. After that I realized that a small act of kindness can make a big difference to a person's life. We should be willing to help others in daily life so that we can also achieve joy and happiness ourselves.
