We rushed back to ask, but were only told Tech Camp was already full.
I tried to act calm, but inside I felt down. Coding(编程) games were something I was looking forward to all summer.
“Look! Too many trees here,” I said. “I wonder if bears ever come around.”
“Oh! Wouldn’t that be the best?” Willow laughed. “You just reminded me of a joke.”
“What kind?” I asked.
“What do you call a bear with no teeth?”
“I don’t know—a very hungry bear?”
“No,” she said proudly. “A gummy bear! The candy we often eat!”
