The writer visited China and wrote about the soldiers' hard life, their never giving up and their dream of a better country. The book was the first to introduce the Chinese Red Army to the world. Today, when we read this book, we can better understand the history and get inspired(受鼓舞的) to realize the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation(民族复兴).
