At Beijing New Oriental Yangzhou Foreign Language School, there's a special club called Tongcao Flowers Paper Art Workshop. It recently won the first prize at a school event, surprising everyone with thousands of beautiful paper flowers made by students and teachers.
Making tongcao flowers takes patience. The team spent 60 days cutting tongcao paper (made from soft plant wood) into tiny pieces.
