Last Friday, we had an unforgettable English class that completely changed my view of English learning. Our teacher, Mr. Wang, walked into the classroom with a big smile and held up a stack of drawing paper—he started the class with a fun game called “Guess the Word”, which immediately lit up the whole room.
We were divided into two teams and had to guess English words from our teammates' drawings. When it was my turn to draw “elephant”, I hurried to draw a long trunk and big ears, but my classmates kept shouting “giraffe”! I waved my hands anxiously, adding four thick legs, and finally someone shouted “elephant”! Everyone was excited and laughed a lot. After the game, Mr. Wang taught us some new words. He used interesting stories to help us remember them. I learned many new words easily.
This class was so interesting that I didn't want it to end. I realized that learning English can be fun and exciting. Now, I always look forward to Mr. Wang's classes and even practice new words by making up small stories myself.

Today, more and more students are using the apps on their mobile phones to help with their homework.
However, different people have different opinions about it.
Some people think it's useful. First, with the help of these apps, students can solve problems in their studies in time. It's easy and convenient for them. Besides, they can study at home. In addition, they can choose their favorite teachers, and they will be more interested in learning.
However, others don't think so. They think some students just pretend to study, while in fact they play games on their phones. They don't want to think independently, but only copy the answers. They don't care about their studies at all. It's a waste of time.
In my opinion, these apps are good for students who are hard-working, because they are quite convenient and can help them study better. But for students who don't want to study, they can be harmful. I hope all students can make good use of them.
