Being a creative inventor
Some inventions happen by accident, some come from curiosity, and some are created to solve a problem. Other inventions come out of a challenge. What will you invent if challenged?
Step 1 Start with one of these challenges, or make up your own.
Step 2 Materials you may need.
Something to build on: cardboard in all shapes and sizes; paper like newspaper, packing paper, or construction paper(彩色美术纸); recyclable (and clean) plastic containers
Ways to join two things together: tape, string, glue, or brads(角钉)
Ways to make a frame(框架): straws of lots of different sizes, and craft sticks
Ways to add colour: markers, magazine pages, or construction paper; or used coloured straws, or craft sticks
What if you don't have exactly what you need? Just look around and see if there's something else you could use in a different way to solve the problem.
Step 3 Practise and present your invention to the class.
