Hi, I'm Becky, a student from Liverpool Middle School. I
want to tell you something about my hometown, Liverpool.
Liverpool is a city in the north-west of England. If you want to visit
it, I can recommend two places to you.
The Echo Wheel of Liverpool is a very popular place in
Liverpool. I recommend the wheel because from the top of the
wheel, you can see parks, museums and shopping centres. You can
also see the River Mersey. On a clear day, you can see mountains in
Wales. The wheel turns 360° and the ride lasts持续 about 15
minutes. The ticket prices are €6.5 for kids under 16 and €13 for
adults成人.
Sefton Park is in the south-east of Liverpool. The park opened
in 1872 and it is one of Liverpool's largest green areas. I recommend
it because it's the perfect place for a quiet walk or a bike ride. There
is a lake in the park. You can go boating. For sporty people, there
are areas to play tennis, football and other sports. The park is open
24 hours a day and it's free to go in.
