D(真题·台州临海、仙居)
Once, there was a little boy who became very ill. He had to spend all day in bed, because he couldn't move at all. Other children were not allowed(允许)to come near him, so he felt lonely(孤独)and blue.
There wasn't much he could do but look out of the window. Time went by, and his feeling of loneliness just grew until one day he saw a strange shape(奇怪的形状)in the window. It was a penguin(企鹅)eating a sausage sandwich. The penguin got in through the open window, said “good afternoon” to the boy, turned around, and left quickly.
Of course, the boy was very surprised. He tried to work out what had happened(发生), but he couldn't. Then the next day outside his window he saw a monkey busy blowing up a balloon(气球). At first, the boy asked himself what that could be. But after a few minutes, as more and more crazy-looking animals appeared(出现)out the window, he couldn't help laughing and found it hard to stop.
The little boy didn't tell anyone about this because he thought no one would believe him. But those strange animals put happiness back in his body. It was really good for his health. Soon he could go back to school again.
There he got to talk to his friends, and told them all the strange shapes he saw. When he was talking to his best friend, he saw something coming out of his friend's schoolbag. The boy asked his friend what it was, and his friend had to show him what was in the bag.
Inside the bag, there were all the fancy-dress(化妆服)suits. The boy knew who had tried to make him happy.
From that day on, the little boy always did his best to make sure that no one felt sad and lonely.

But after a few minutes, as more and more crazy-looking animals appeared out the window, he couldn't help laughing and found it hard to stop. The little boy didn't tell anyone about this because he thought no one would believe him.(但几分钟后,窗外出现了越来越多看起来很疯狂的动物,他忍不住笑了起来,很难停下来。
