After a full day of activities, the little dog sleeps in his bed. A custom (定制的) wheelchair (轮椅) is behind him. Yes! He needs it to help him move.
Once, the dog could run and play freely. But later he lost the ability (能力) to walk with his back legs. His owners love him very much. They wanted him to live comfortably. So they got the custom wheelchair for him.
★When he first sat in the wheelchair, he didn't understand what was happening. And he felt confused. But with his owners' help, he slowly learned to use it and got used to (适应) it.
Now he can walk and run again. He plays with toys on the grass, explores the house and follows his owners everywhere.
The wheelchair becomes his good friend. He lives a really happy life.
