2026年作业本浙江教育出版社八年级英语上册外研版第77页答案
B
As a little girl, I used to sit in the kitchen and watch my mother cook, but I didn’t really enjoy cooking. When I moved to Washington D.C., I left all of my friends. I felt lonely. Home-cooked meals helped change my situation.
So, I started asking my mum for recipes. However, my mum didn’t have any recipes. She grew up in the kitchen with her mum, and my grandma shared her knowledge orally. Then it was my turn. Finally, I learnt to cook by tasting my food. It was good and that made me happy. Soon enough, everyone asked me for the recipes. I didn’t want the knowledge about dishes like my mum’s noodles and my dad’s tomato soup to disappear one day. I wanted to write down every piece of advice. That was why Bun Bo Bae, my cooking blog, appeared in 2019. Bun Bo Bae allowed me to put what I had learnt into writing.
These days, I try more dishes. I’m not strict with myself about creating the dishes again. I use seasonal food when I can’t find the things I need. Now my food blog is popular, and that increases my confidence in the kitchen.
I am very thankful for Bun Bo Bae. It has connected me with many new friends. Most importantly, writing for Bun Bo Bae has taught me that being a good cook is about mixing what I have learnt with my own experiences and cooking up something new.
