My First DIY Work
DIY is very popular among young people. I finished my first DIY work yesterday.
Last week, I bought some paint and two brushes on the Internet. Before painting the walls, I read the instructions carefully. At first, I painted all the walls blue. But the room looked a little dull and boring. At last, I decided to draw some colorful fish and a boat on the wall. There was paint everywhere. I had to spend an hour cleaning the room. Now the room looks really beautiful.
I am pleased with my first DIY work. However, I want to know more about DIY. Thus, I will take a course in DIY. I will also buy more books about it.

DIY is very popular among young people. I finished my first DIY work yesterday.
Last weekend, I decided to do a DIY work. I made a small bookshelf for my desk using some wooden boards and tools.
First, I prepared the materials: three small wooden boards, a hammer, some nails, a ruler, a pencil, and sandpaper. Then, I used the ruler and pencil to mark the length and width on the boards. Next, I asked my dad to help me cut the boards along the marks because I was not good at using the saw. Then, I started nailing the boards together. When it was done, the small bookshelf looked neat. It was just the right size for my desk.
I was very excited and proud of myself. I learned how to use simple tools and work carefully. I also realized that making things with my own hands is very satisfying. It was a wonderful experience.
