3. 考查形容词辨析:前文“七天没食物”,可知他们很饿,故选C(hungry);A(angry)生气,B(interested)感兴趣,D(pleased)高兴,均不符合。4. 考查副词辨析:前文“没食物”,后文“颜回得到米”是幸运的事,故选D(Luckily);A(Suddenly)突然,B(Exactly)确切地,C(Probably)可能,不符合。5. 考查不定代词:肯定句中表示“某样东西”,故选B(something);A(everything)一切,C(anything)用于否定/疑问句,D(nothing)没东西,不符合。6. 考查名词辨析:后文颜回解释被误会,所以是给出解释,故选A(explanation);B(comment)评论,C(praise)表扬,D(situation)情况,不符合。7. 8. 考查固定习语:seeing is believing意为“眼见为实”,故选A(believing);B(sharing)分享,C(deciding)决定,D(solving)解决,不符合。9. B(depend on);A(look after)照顾,C(care about)关心,D(help with)帮助,不符合。10. 考查形容词辨析:孔子误解了颜回,所以对自己的行为感到羞耻,故选D(ashamed);A(proud)骄傲,B(sure)确定,C(afraid)害怕,不符合。
1—5 B B C D B;6—10 A C A B D

A
When three men in California were taken to a hospital with strange symptoms (症状), the hospital doctors thought the men had been poisoned (毒害). They felt dizzy (头晕目眩的), tired, and weak. The men couldn't speak, and they had trouble breathing. The doctors couldn't work out what was wrong with the men until they found out the three men were all cooks, and they had just shared a dish of fugu (河豚).
Fugu, the Japanese name for the pufferfish, is one of the strangest fishes in the ocean. The pufferfish gets its name from the way the fish keeps itself safe when it faces enemies. Whenever it is attacked, the fish blows up its body to over twice its usual size!
The reason why the three men were taken to hospital is that the pufferfish is very poisonous. If you eat a whole pufferfish, you will probably die.
The symptoms of fugu poisoning include a strange feeling around the mouth and throat, and breathing difficulties. You can't breathe and your body can't get any air. Your brain still works perfectly, however, so you know you are dying, but you can't speak or do anything about it.
Despite the danger of fugu poisoning, this fish is actually a very popular kind of food in Japan. Because of the danger, fugu can only be prepared by cooks with a special licence (执照) from the government. These cooks are trained to identify and take out the poisonous parts of the fish. Most people who die from eating fugu these days are people who have tried their hand at preparing the fish themselves.
