It was widespread particularly during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. People often their homes with paper-cuts when they celebrate happy, especially the Spring Festival. She is good at paper-cutting which was inherited from her mother. But it comes to my mother's generation一代, paper-cutting seems to be kicked out. people need it, so my mother doesn't learn this skill any more. Paper-cutting is lost in my family.
When I found my grandma had this , I was so surprised and curious about it. I asked my grandma to teach me the skill. During the progress, I found this art was so great. The wonderful art me soon. I think some traditional arts like paper-cutting be kept. They are the essence精华 of Chinese art.
