2026年浙江新期末七年级英语人教版第115页答案
Think about swimming across the English Channel(英吉利海峡). It would be difficult for anyone, right? But Melanie Barratt did it—and she is blind!
Melanie was born(出生) with poor eyesight. She could only see bright colours. School was hard for her. She couldn't join in games like other kids and often stayed herself. But everything changed when she started swimming. She improved quickly and began to join in swimming races. She even took part in the Paralympic Games(残奥会). At the 1996 Atlanta and 2000 Sydney Paralympics, she won two golds, two silvers, and a bronze.
After that, Melanie stopped competitive(竞技) swimming. A friend introduced her to open-water swimming and she quickly fell in love with it. As she became good at it, she wanted to do more. So she decided to change herself by swimming across the English Channel.
The big day came on August 28th, 2024. She started swimming early in the morning. When she was swimming, the freezing water scared her and made her sick. But she didn't stop. After 12 hours and 20 minutes, she got to the other side! She became the first blind woman to swim across the English Channel!
"I don't want my eye problem to hold me back," says Melanie. She sets a great example to us all.

Have you been to pet-themed(宠物主题) restaurants? Now in China, they are getting more and more popular because a lot of people love keeping pets. So actually these restaurants are famous for their pets rather than(而不是) food. There are not so many kinds of food in these pet-themed restaurants, but people can play with cats, dogs, ducks, rabbits or other animals while eating or having drinks. Many pet
lovers would like to go to such restaurants to enjoy their weekends. However, is it safe to enjoy food in such an environment?
In fact, there are many problems of the pet-themed restaurants. Animal hairs are everywhere, and there's often bad smell in the restaurants. In one of the dog-themed restaurants, the dogs fight, jump onto the dining table or even poop in the dining area. Some people think the animals in the pet-themed restaurants might carry parasites(寄生虫) and spread diseases(传播疾病), which are bad for people. 第25题:单词猜测题。画线词“they”所在的句子是“As more pets are entering Chinese families, they have become an important part of people's daily lives.”,前半句的主语是“pets”,后半句承接前半句,指这些宠物成为了人们日常生活的重要部分,因此“they”指代宠物。故选C。
第26题:作者态度题。根据文章最后一句“However, without rules and regulations, the restaurants can't be good choices for people.”可知,作者认为宠物主题餐厅需要制定规章制度,才能成为好的选择。故选D。
