I had a brown goat named Finn. I raised him after finding him in the forest. He wasn't healthy at that time. I took him home. I fed him four times every day, and he grew up fast. Soon he was running around and playing with other goats. Sometimes he tried to eat my books and my clothes, and every day he got more playful.
One day, I had to make a painting for art homework, so I painted a picture of Finn, excited to show my class that I had a pet goat. I left the drawing in the barn(谷仓), but later I found it with small bite marks(咬痕) in the paper. I tried to tell him that he shouldn't do that, but he just blinked(眨眼) in surprise.
Just then, I had a good idea. I put Finn's hoofs(蹄) into my blue paints, and then held a carrot across from him so that he would have to walk on the paper to get the carrot. While he was eating the carrot, I looked down at the paper—it was decorated(点缀) with blue, and I could see hoof prints like flowers on the paper! I then did that with colours red, yellow and green.
When I showed everyone my painting at school, they were all surprised at my artwork, especially the teacher. After getting home from school, I made lots of hoof prints. I gave a page full of hoof prints to everyone in my class.
The little prints must interest them. And the next day some of the students brought more prints from home. They weren't just goat prints—there were cow prints, horse prints, pig prints, chicken prints, and so on. Finn's wonderful painting led other kids to make artworks.
