三、阅读理解
阅读下面的语言材料,从每题所给的A、B、C、D四个选项中选出最佳选项。
I used to have a really hard time with my memory. In school, I would often forget important facts for tests, and it was sad because I knew I had studied them. I would look at my notes and think I understood everything, but when it came to recalling the information during an exam, my mind went blank.
One day, I decided to do something about it. I started by changing my study habits. Instead of just reading my notes over and over again, I began to use flash cards. I wrote a question on one side of the card and the answer on the other. This way, I could quiz myself and really test my memory. I also made sure to review the flash cards regularly. I started with short intervals and gradually increased the time between reviews.
Another thing I did was try to make connections between the things I was learning. For example, if I was studying history, I would try to relate the events to things that were happening in the world today or to my own
life experiences. This made the information more memorable because it was no longer just a bunch of facts but something that had meaning to me.
I also realized that getting enough sleep was crucial for my memory. Before, I used to stay up late at night for studying. But I noticed that on the days when I was tired, I had an even harder time remembering things. So, I started going to bed earlier to make sure I got at least 8 hours of sleep each night.
Over time, I started to see a big improvement in my memory. I was able to remember more information for tests, and I didn’t feel stressed out during exams. Now, I can confidently say that I have overcome my memory problems, and I feel far more assured in my studies.
