“When I'm on a lake or a river, the little wind and the sound of water make it a nice activity to forget work,” said Ma Yuan from Beijing. In Beijing, paddleboarding on the Liangma River, Kunyu River and Tonghui River becomes a popular water sport. It brings opportunities for clubs, trainers, and equipment makers to make some money.
Wang Xue, a trainer in a training school, told Teens that SUP is easy to learn. “You can sit, stand, kneel and even lie on the board as you want, and it's safe because you don't need to worry about falling down and getting hurt,” Wang said. Another big fan of paddleboarding from Wuxi, Zhu Jiayan, 39, finds that it is not only about exercising but also about enjoying the beauty along the way and making friends. “Also, it is good to do it in any season and it's a sport friendly to all ages,” Zhu said.
