C(2025·杭州滨江)
Some people say that childhood is the best time of your life. However, being a child has good sides and bad sides.
On the good side, you have few duties(职责). For example, you don't have to go to work, pay for things you need, or do the shopping or housework. This means you have lots of free time to do whatever you want—watch TV, play video games, go out with friends, play sports, or take up other hobbies. Besides, public transport(公共交通), cinemas, and sports centres cost much less for children. So being a child can be a fun time of life.
However, every coin(硬币) has two sides. For one thing, you have to spend all day, every day, Monday to Friday, at school and this certainly means that you have to do homework and take exams. What is more, although you have free time, you are hardly allowed to do whatever you want. You need your parents' permission(允许) before going out with friends, staying out late, or going to parties. It can sometimes seem that they want to stop you having any fun. Last of all, things may be cheaper for children, but that doesn't mean they are cheap. Children depend on getting money from parents and only some parents choose to, or are able to give a lot. So not all children can afford many fun activities or the things they like.
All in all, even though childhood doesn't have many duties, I really don't think it is the best part of life. On the one hand, children may have free time, but on the other hand, they do not have the freedom(自由) to choose what to do with it. They can feel pressured both by parents and schools. Also, the greater duties that come with age make their own pressures, too.

23. 细节理解题:原文第二段阐述童年的好的方面,提到“have lots of free time to do whatever you want—watch TV...take up other hobbies”,对应选项C“More time to spend on hobbies”。
25. 细节理解题:第四段明确提到孩子的压力来自“parents and schools”以及“greater duties that come with age”,即②Parents、④Schools、⑤Growing duties,对应选项D。
