2026年作业本浙江教育出版社九年级英语上册人教版第7页答案
Ⅲ. Read and complete the tasks.
There is a great change in energy around the world today. For the past 200 years, power has come from coal, oil and gas. People get these fossil fuels from the ground in faraway and unsafe places. Now, a new kind of energy is becoming popular all over the world—solar power, which comes from the sun.
Not only is the change good for the environment, but it will also bring energy security to many countries. They still have to buy oil and gas from other countries today. It will help many poor people use electricity(电力), especially in Africa and South Asia.
What’s more, cheap and plentiful solar power will change the world’s situation. Countries do not need to fight for limited oil and gas any more. People can get energy from the sky above them.
However, there are still problems. The sun does not shine all the time, so we need better ways to store energy and better electrical systems. Some countries also worry about the materials and supply chains. But these problems are not too difficult to solve.
The rise of solar power is one of the best changes in our changing world. Solar power will probably become the world’s most important electricity supply by 2050, if not sooner. For our world and all people, the time of solar power is just starting.
