Mia is a 12-year-old girl. She lives in a small town. She has a very special and warm hobby—gardening.
Mia started to grow plants when she was eight years old. At first, she only planted a few tomato seeds. Now her garden becomes big and beautiful. She grows many kinds of fresh vegetables, like carrots, lettuce and tomatoes. She also grows tall sunflowers.
Mia does not keep all the food for her family. She gives extra vegetables to her neighbours. “Sharing with others makes me happy,” Mia says. Every weekend, she teaches little kids how to plant seeds and look after plants.
