Eoin Colfer was born in Wexford, Ireland in 1965, where he and his four brothers lived with his father and mother. When he studied in primary school(小学), he loved history. He used the ideas from the history subject to write exciting Viking stories. To his surprise, all the teachers and students liked them. After that, he became interested in writing.
