How are you? I hope you and your family are well.
Helena and I spent three fantastic weeks in Ireland and had a great time. We flew to Dublin and spent a week there. It's a beautiful and interesting city. We saw all the old buildings and enjoyed the nightlife.
After that, we rented(租用) a car and spent two weeks driving around the country. It was really beautiful! I was worried about the weather, but it didn't rain. We stayed in small hotels and met some really nice people.
My favourite place was County(郡) Mayo. We went walking in the mountains in County Mayo for a few days. It was really quiet. On the first day, we didn't see anyone else—We only saw sheep!
Now we're back in New York! How was your summer vacation? Did you have a good time? I'm glad to know about your holiday. Or why not come and visit us? There are some cheap flights(航班) in September and the weather is also OK.
