I get up at six in the morning. Dad is putting the cows and sheep onto the trucks. Mum takes my favourite food. Soon, we will start driving to another pasture(牧场). We will live in the yurt. The yurt is made of wood, wool(羊毛)and animal skins. Beautiful carpets(地毯)are inside of the yurt. We fold(折叠)the yurt when we move.
My family moves like this four times every year. It's a tradition of Kazak people in Altay(阿勒泰), Xinjiang. We have about 100 sheep and 40 cows. We move to different places as the seasons change. So, our animals can always have fresh grass to eat.
In spring and autumn, we live halfway up the mountain. I help my parents shear(给……剪毛)the sheep. My friends also come with their families. We ride horses, play the dombra and look for squirrels in the trees when we are on the top(顶部)of the mountain in summer. In winter, we live at the foot of the mountain.
As we move from place to place, our lives keep getting better and better.
