Kevin Tang is the winner of the 2025 3M Young Scientist Challenge. He won the title (称号) of “America’s Top Young Scientist”. He got a 25,000 prize! This is a science competition (竞赛) for US middle school students.
Kevin was 13 years old. He made a useful thing called FallGuard. It uses video analysis (视频分析) to help old people. *If they fall, it alerts (向……发出警报) their family. It can also watch how old people walk.
Kevin got this great idea after his grandma fell in the kitchen. No one found her right away. He hopes FallGuard can help more people like his grandma.
Kevin said, “Small ideas can bring big changes. Care a lot, and you can make them come true!”
