二、阅读理解。
根据短文内容,从题中所给的A、B、C、D四个选项中选出最佳选项。
As teenagers, you always have different kinds of worries. Many of you don’t like parents’ advice at this age because they usually don’t allow you to do what you want or like to do. I experienced the same things when I was young. So maybe you can take my advice!
Parents always like to tell their children to listen to them. They give different reasons why we should do so. But should we take all of their advice? I don’t think so. We needn’t follow all of our parents’ advice. We must learn to have our own opinions.
Our parents are from a totally different generation(一代). For example, our lessons are much more difficult than theirs when they were students. We are also under much more pressure than they once were. Most of our parents suggest we should make use of every minute to study hard. They think of doing anything else as a waste of time, though it may be meaningful to us. So, we need to talk about it with them. Try to tell them our feelings and opinions. That’s useful.
On the other hand, we shouldn’t simply turn a deaf ear to our parents’ advice, either. Our parents have more life experience than we do. They got through many difficulties. We should take their advice as long as it is reasonable(合理的).
In a word, we should listen to our parents selectively(选择性地). Always think twice about their advice.
