Tom lives in a beautiful house with his family on a big farm. Today is both Children's Day and Tom's 13th birthday. Every year, his parents have a special surprise for him. This year, they prepare a treasure hunt(寻宝游戏).
When Tom gets up, he sees a note(纸条)
on his bed. It says, "Game time! Answer my questions and you'll find your birthday gift. First, what has a round face and two thin hands, one short hand and one long hand?" After thinking for 2 minutes, Tom goes to the dining hall and sees another note on the clock. It says, "Next question, what large instrument does your sister often play?" Tom thinks of his sister Nancy. Nancy loves music and has many instruments in her room. He goes to her room and finds a note on her piano. It says, "The gift is in the house of your favourite animal."
Tom runs to the cow's house. There, he finds a map in a box. The map shows Tom the way to the treasure—a new bike! Tom is very happy and he thanks his parents for it. Then they enjoy a birthday cake together.
