我们都听过熊和两个旅行者的故事,你还记得这个故事告诉了我们什么道理吗?
Long long ago, there were two men travelling in a forest when a bear met them on their way home. One of the men quickly climbed up a tree and hid himself in the branches. The other, seeing that he would be attacked, lay flat on the ground. When the bear pushed him with his snout, and smelled him all over, he held his breath and feigned death. The bear soon left him, for it is said that bears will not touch a dead body.
After the bear was gone, the other traveller came out from the tree, and asked his friend what the bear whispered in his ear. "He gave me this advice," his friend answered. "Never travel with a friend who deserts you at the approach of(临近……) danger."
